FAT LOSS FOR CYCLISTS
Losing body fat through cycling isn't as simple as people think. You need to eat before your session, during your session and after your session to ensure you are fuelling and recovering properly. This can make it difficult to stay in a calorific deficit without compromising on your training.
Get Started TodayAs a Certified Nutrition Coach with a decade of experience coaching cyclists, my course helps you cut through the noise and create long term, sustainable strategies to help you achieve your body composition goals without slowing down.
I am not promising a non existent "secret", asking you to weigh your food or cut out major food groups, this is all about doing the basics really, really well.

"I am down 5KG in six weeks with a 4.1% reduction in body fat. 4.7KG of the weight lost is fat, 0.1g loss of muscle mass. Need to take it all with a pinch of salt salt, but the trends are heading in the right direction"

MEET YOUR COACH
My name is Simon Olney, I've been road cycling since 2012 with 24 hour events and time trial wins to my name.
I started working as a coach in 2016 to help strip away the mystery and misinformation surrounding cycling.
I have written this course to help you understand the principles behind fat loss for cycling, allowing you to fly up the hills even faster.
"I recently completed Simon's Fat Loss for Cyclists online course. As a 45 year old mum of three, it's easy to think that shifting those extra kilos is impossible. In the past I've successfully dropped a few kilos by cutting out lunch, but that has meant that I'm struggling to do my training later in the day. Thanks to the course, I feel much better equipped to shift the fat and fuel my training to get the best performance possible. Thank you for this excellent course!"

THE SCIENCE OF FAT LOSS
Your first module looks at the scientific principles which underpin the rest of the course. We cover why you're not seeing progress, metabolism, macronutrients, popular diets, and more.

FAT LOSS STRATEGIES
Knowledge is one thing, application is another. Your second module looks at techniques to help you manage hunger, learn how to snack in a healthy fashion, and maintain a healthy relationship with food.

FAT LOSS AND CYCLING
We are not trying to lose weight to look good on the beach, we are cyclists. Your final module talks you through how weight affects your cycling performance, target weight, and scenarios where it pays to be carrying a bit more bulk.
